Should we thank our parent for being who we are?

Of course YES. It's the PARENTS who bring us to the world of beauty! But there remains a little words: How are the parents to their children? When they are dishonest in their personal life, earn illegally, do inhuman jobs or teach the ill things to their children ( I've seen some parents in my country), in that case how could one thank them?

That depends on if you like the person you are, and if who you are is a direct result of their parenting. If you like who you are and it's because of the way you were raised then yes. If not and it is because of the way you were brought up then no.

Yes. They concieved you, raised you, gave you their morals and believes...they gave you a good frame work to work from...
