Default Presidential Election?

Why exactly has Barack Obama received 90% of the African American vote? Isn't that kind of racist if they are only voting for him because he's black?

If 90% of women were voting for Senator Clinton because she is a woman there would be unbearable negativity from the media.

To the first poster, Clinton never had the black vote.

America is a democracy the black people can vote for who they wish. Clinton had leads on Obama in the women category, are they sexist? Clinton made some remarks which were stupid that angered the African American community. Before she said things, she was only losing 4 to 6 to Obama

Dont take me wrong, I am 100% against Obama, but not because he is black.
I remember a time when a white guy only got 10 % of the black vote. do the math. he got 90% of the white.
oh, lets see, there was no black man to vote for so that was not racial that the white guy got 90% of the white vote?
How do you expect people to vote? 90% white for Obama and 90% black for Clinton?

Why not--the majority of women will vote for Hillary because she is a woman--it's the exact same thing. It does not make anyone a racist if he/she votes for one based on his/her race or gender!!!!!

You are forgetting that he had to win over those votes, which were going to Hillary as recently as a month ago.

If they are voting for him for no other reason than he is african american then yes, if they are voting for him because they believe he is qualified then no. Exit polls show that many african americans are voting for him strictly based on his race. I understand they want the chance to be in the white house but being qualified is more important than your race. I hope people vote with their brains and not just their hearts.

Because Obama speaks about things the African-American community believes in.

Hope..and Change.

Looking to the future...a brighter future filled with Hope and full of change.

We can't look to the Past.

We are living in the Present.

We must look ahead. Ahead to a future of Hope. A future of Change.

A future where we can Hope for Changes and have those Changes bring us Hope.

I have a dream...that one day, every child will take part in this change. A change brought on by Hope.

Amen my brothers and sisters!

<this message brought to you by Obama '08>
