Default Should sex education be added as an additional period in school?

Granted, it is also the parents responsibilities to teach their children about the risks of sex, and how to be safe. But, it seems as if sex education in schools has gone to either minimal or non existant. What should be done?

yes, I think it should be, but parents should be allowed to opt out of it for their kids.

I personally would not allow the mediocre school system to teach my children about sex. They will get the info they need from home, and they will get the correct info and resources to ensure a safe and healthy sexual life.

I think so. My wife says I would have benefited greatly from that course.

There should be a life class... where they teach you about sex... babies... STDs... setting and keeping a budget... getting a job... buying a house... investing your money... real life information.
