Default How do I sync my IPod to a new computer when old one is inaccessable????

K. I have NO computer skills, I live in a cornfield, and I need a very clear step by step answer. I have a 2nd gen. Nano that was origionally synched to my friend's computer. I have no access to that computer now, and another friend offered to put music on for me. I need to be able to sync to this new computer without losing my songs (they are my only copy of them) but without all the "free downloadable software" crap that magically lets you make copies of your music. This is not my computer, and I do not want to download anything to his that is not authorized that may do it harm. do not know how to find hidden files, I just need someone to explain this very clearly like you would explain that 1+1+2 to an overemotional three-year-old. Simple and every little step by step. PLEASE.
